• Sep 29 - Early script draft, featuring original title of Road To Ruin (a Ramones reference, not a Richard Gere reference). Story is co-credited to Scott Phillips and Anthony Trifiletti, and aside from a few character-name changes tracks the final released version of the movie pretty closely. The major difference is that the final battle with Vic Madison and The Advanced Model takes place on a moving auto carrier.

1997

• Dec 26 - Drive premieres on HBO

1998

• Aug 18 - Drive released on DVD in the US by Simitar and A-Pix Entertanment.
• Aug - Drive wins first place for Best International Film at Fant-Asia Montreal '98, The International Festival Of Fantasy And Action Cinema.
• (unknown) - Mark Dacascos and Kadeem Hardison work together on an episode of The Crow: Stairway To Heaven. Kadeem plays the Skull Cowboy in "It's A Wonderful Death".

2000

• April - Medusa Pictures releases Drive: Special Collector's Edition released on VHS and DVD in the UK.
