Lazlo's CDHistory Machine is a repository for information about the Compact Disc. It focuses on information about the format itself, rather than the music (and other content) released on the format. But we go there sometimes too.
The wiki was inspired by, but is not affiliated with, the Steve Hoffman Music Forums. Discussions on the Hoffman forums often touch on aspects of the format's history that aren't recorded anywhere in any coherent form. This site hopes to fill that void.
