First-generation Charisma "purple swirl" design

The first PolyGram-pressed releases on Charisma, Genesis' ...And Then There Were Three... and Peter Gabriel's self-titled fourth album (a/k/a Security) were issued with a dark-purple-on-light-purple "swirl" design on the label. The "swirl" graphic also appeared on on early Casablanca releases, but reversed left-to-right and in magenta on a gray background.

There is one known variant of the "swirl" design, in which the background is clear and the "swirl" itself is light purple.

Subsequent pressings of these titles, and later Charisma releases, switched to the yellow "rays" design also used by Casablanca.
